Maintenance Tips
-
Clean interior and drip trays regularly: Wipe down interior surfaces and drip trays weekly to prevent buildup, mold, or odors.
-
Sanitize beer lines and faucets often: Flush lines and clean faucets every 1–2 weeks or when changing kegs for hygiene and fresh pours.
-
Maintain condenser & cooling system: Clean condenser coils and fan blades every 1–3 months; keep the unit well‑ventilated for efficient cooling.
-
Inspect door gaskets/seals: Check seals regularly for wear or cracks; clean them to ensure a tight seal and stable internal temperature.
-
Check temperature and pressure: Regularly verify internal temperature is within safe beer storage range and ensure CO₂ or dispensing pressure (if used) is set correctly.
-
Allow space for airflow: Do not overfill — give clearance around kegs to allow cold air circulation and maintain even cooling.
-
Prepare before downtime: If unit won’t be used for a while, clean and dry interior, beer lines, and faucets thoroughly; sanitize before next use.
