The Makita 18 Volt LXT Cordless AVT Power Scraper is engineered for a wide range of applications like scraping, light chipping, scaling, and chiseling. This versatile tool features a variable impact speed of 0 to 3200 BPM and 2.2 Ft-Lbs of impact energy for handling the most demanding applications. It has 12 angle settings that facilitate the bit to be set at different positions for increased operating convenience. The scraper also accepts SDS bits. This tool is jam packed with features like an electric brake, constant speed control, variable speed dial, built-in LED light, and a retractable tool hook. The Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) safeguards the tool from dust and water, thereby increases durability in harsh job site conditions. The Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) is an internal counterbalance that uses air pressure to move counterweight pistons in the opposite direction of the drive piston, actively reducing vibration. Constant speed control mechanism automatically applies additional power to the motor to maintain speed under load to complete the most challenging jobs. Users can match the speed to the application with the variable speed dial and trigger. The Power Scraper features lock-on power mode for continuous operation and soft start to effectively suppresses start-up reaction for more precision and better accuracy. It incorporates built-in LED light with an independent On/Off to illuminate the work area.
