Everest - EOMH-60-B-35-S Commercial 60" Horizontal Open Air Display Merchandiser - EOMH-60-B-35-S

Our Open Air Merchandisers conform to NSF 7 Type II and are built to withstand 80F ambient temperature - higher than most brands out on the market today. The open, no-door format is made possible by advanced Cold Air Technology that deflects hot ambient air out of the shelf area while trapping cold air inside. The built-in, retractable night curtain is a standard feature that provides extra security and improved energy efficiency when the unit is not in active use. Available in vertical and horizontal styles and various sizes to match any space. Equipped with the Blizzard R290 system, a fully self-contained and detachable condensing unit that uses natural, environmentally friendly, EPA-compliant R290 refrigerant with zero (0) Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and three (3) Global Warming Potential (GWP). Blizzard R290 is easily replaceable and requires no on-site brazing.

The evaporator coils and condenser are large capacities and corrosion-resistant. The fan motors are electronically commutated and can achieve rapid cooling with less energy consumption. There is also shielded LED bar lighting, located under shelves and the canopy, which provides high color illumination with low heat output. The factory preset temperature is 35°F. The two-tier shelf riser is removable.

The condensate drain is self-maintaining, and will not require any external drains. In addition, the drain is energy efficient, it won't need any electric heaters either. There are four 5" swivel casters, with locks on the front set, as well as leg stabilizers. The cabinet and door are insulated with high-density polyurethane. The included NEMA 5-15P is pre-wired and ready to plug. This product is not to be installed in direct sunlight.

All-In-One Slide-Out Cooling Cartridge

Blizzard R290 Is the latest innovation in refrigeration technology. Patented by Everest. This all-in-one eco-friendly and easy to install condensing unit will surely blow away the competition.

The Blizzard uses R290, a natural, climate-friendly, hydrocarbon refrigerant with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP). It"™s an effective alternative to hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) based refrigerants. Without harmful effects on the environment. Blizzard and all Everest equipment meet the daily energy consumption standards of the U.S. Department of Energy & Environment Protection Agency.

Maintenance Tips
  • Power Off Before Cleaning — Always unplug or switch off the unit before cleaning or servicing to avoid electrical hazards.

  • Regular Surface Cleaning — Wipe the interior, shelves, and display surfaces with mild detergent and warm water to remove spills, dust, and food debris.

  • Keep Coils and Air Vents Clean — Every few months (or more often if in a dusty environment), gently brush or vacuum condenser coils and vents to maintain efficient airflow and cooling.

  • Ensure Proper Airflow — Don’t Overload

  • Avoid stuffing items tightly.

  • Leave space around products so chilled air circulates evenly.

  • Maintain Drainage / Condensate Pan — If the unit has a drip pan or drain line, clear it regularly to prevent water build‑up, mold, or leakage.

  • Monitor Internal Temperature — Check the cooling performance periodically; if temperatures fluctuate, inspect coils, vents, and airflow before contacting service.

  • Use Safe Cleaners Only — Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive scrubbers that can damage surfaces or components.

  • Periodic Professional Maintenance — At least annually, have a qualified technician inspect refrigeration components (compressor, fans, coolant, seals) to ensure safe, long-term operation.
