Everest - EOMV-72-W-35-T, Commercial 73" Vertical Open Air Display Merchandiser Refrigerator 37 cu. ft. - EOMV-72-W-35-T

Our Open Air Merchandisers conform to NSF 7 Type II and are built to withstand 80F ambient temperature - higher than most brands out on the market today. The open, no-door format is made possible by advanced Cold Air Technology that deflects hot ambient air out of the shelf area while trapping cold air inside. The built-in, retractable night curtain is a standard feature that provides extra security and improved energy efficiency when the unit is not in active use. Available in vertical and horizontal styles and various sizes to match any space. Equipped with the Blizzard R290 system, a fully self-contained and detachable condensing unit that uses natural, environmentally friendly, EPA-compliant R290 refrigerant with zero (0) Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and three (3) Global Warming Potential (GWP). Blizzard R290 is easily replaceable and requires no on-site brazing.

The evaporator coils and condenser are large capacities and corrosion-resistant. The fan motors are electronically commutated and can achieve rapid cooling with less energy consumption. There is also shielded LED bar lighting, located under shelves and the canopy, which provides high color illumination with low heat output. The factory preset temperature is 35°F. The two-tier shelf riser is removable.

The condensate drain is self-maintaining, and will not require any external drains. In addition, the drain is energy efficient, it won't need any electric heaters either. There are four 5" swivel casters, with locks on the front set, as well as leg stabilizers. The cabinet and door are insulated with high-density polyurethane. The included NEMA 5-15P is pre-wired and ready to plug. This product is not to be installed in direct sunlight.

All-In-One Slide-Out Cooling Cartridge

Blizzard R290 Is the latest innovation in refrigeration technology. Patented by Everest. This all-in-one eco-friendly and easy to install condensing unit will surely blow away the competition.

The Blizzard uses R290, a natural, climate-friendly, hydrocarbon refrigerant with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP). It"â„¢s an effective alternative to hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) based refrigerants. Without harmful effects on the environment. Blizzard and all Everest equipment meet the daily energy consumption standards of the U.S. Department of Energy & Environment Protection Agency.

Maintenance Tips
  • Clean Surfaces & Pans After Use — Wipe down the prep surface, interior of drawers, and pan compartments with mild detergent and warm water after each shift to maintain hygiene and prevent food residue buildup.

  • Sanitize Regularly — Use food-safe sanitizing solution on cutting surfaces, pan wells, and drawers to prevent bacterial growth and keep food prep safe.

  • Check Drawer & Hinge Mechanisms — Periodically inspect drawer rails, hinges, and handles for smooth operation; lubricate if needed and tighten loose screws or bolts to ensure safe, stable use.

  • Keep Refrigerated Base Clean (if applicable) — If your prep table includes a refrigerated unit, clean the interior, check door gaskets for wear, and ensure coils/vents are dust‑free for efficient cooling.

  • Avoid Overloading Pans and Drawers — Do not exceed recommended capacities; overloading can strain hinges, affect cooling (if refrigerated), and make cleaning harder.

  • Drainage & Spill Management — Promptly wipe spills or leaks; ensure any drain or drip tray is cleaned and drained to prevent water accumulation, odors, or corrosion.

  • Use Non‑Abrasive Cleaning Tools — Avoid harsh abrasives or bleach that may scratch surfaces or damage stainless‑steel finish.

  • Regular Hygienic Checks — Check for rust, dents, or damage in the structure; repair or replace damaged parts to maintain durability and food safety.
