Maintenance Tips
  • Clean Interior & Exterior Regularly — Wipe down walls, shelves, and surfaces with mild soap and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, or acids that can damage stainless or plastic finishes.

  • Door Seal (Gasket) Care — Clean door gaskets frequently, inspect for cracks or wear, and replace if damaged to maintain an airtight seal and consistent temperature.

  • Condenser Coil Upkeep — Clean the condenser coil monthly (or more often in dusty/greasy kitchens) using a soft brush or vacuum to remove dust, lint, or grease that reduce cooling efficiency.

  • Drain & Airflow Maintenance — Check drainage lines and drip pans regularly to prevent blockages and water buildup. Ensure internal airflow isn’t blocked by overloading contents.

  • Temperature Control & Load Management — Ensure the unit maintains correct temperatures. Avoid overfilling, blocking vents, or placing hot items directly inside to prevent temperature spikes or frost buildup.

  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals & Mechanical Stress — Do not spray water directly on components, avoid flammable or abrasive solvents, and unplug the unit before cleaning. Handle components gently to prevent damage.

  • Professional Servicing — Periodically (at least annually) have a qualified technician inspect coolant levels, fan motors, thermostat calibration, and overall system health to prevent failures.
