Maintenance Tips
-
Clean interior and drip trays regularly: Wipe down all surfaces — inside walls, drip trays, door interior — at least once a week to prevent buildup, mildew, and odors.
-
Sanitize beer lines and faucets frequently: Flush the beer lines and clean faucets regularly (e.g. every 1–2 weeks or when changing kegs) to keep pours fresh and hygienic.
-
Maintain condenser and cooling system: Clean condenser coils and fan blades every 1–3 months to ensure efficient cooling. Make sure the unit has sufficient airflow and proper ventilation around it.
-
Check door seals and gaskets: Inspect door gaskets monthly for wear, cracks or debris; clean them to maintain a tight seal and stable internal temperature.
-
Monitor temperature and dispensing pressure: Ensure the internal temperature stays within the recommended range for beer storage and check any CO₂ or pressure systems for correct settings.
-
Avoid overloading the cabinet: Leave space around kegs and bottles to allow air circulation, ensuring even cooling throughout the fridge.
-
Prepare for downtime: If the unit won’t be used for a while, empty kegs, clean and dry lines and interior surfaces thoroughly, then re-sanitize before next use.
