Revere Aero Elite Aviation Life Raft, 4-8 Person - 45-AE4V

If your flight plan includes time over water, Revere’s Aero Elite life raft should be on your pre-flight checklist. The ultimate lightweight life raft for general aviation, the Aero Elite 4 person weighs only 45 lbs!

The Aero Elite is the most compact, lightweight general aviation life raft in its class making it easy to stow and deploy. It features one large oversized 13" tube; vertical bulkheads inside divide the tube into two independent air-holding compartments, so if one compartment is punctured, the other keeps you afloat. Offering a spacious 4ft per person, the Aero Elite includes a heavy-duty boarding ladder, an inflatable floor, automatically inflated canopy, stowage pockets, zippered windows, flashing strobe, four extra-large, 200 lb ballast pockets, an extensive survival equipment pack including USCG/SOLAS flares and much more. The Aero Elite is vacuum-packed to add greater protection against the environment and minimize servicing costs as service is required just once every three years.

Features:

  • Large, oversized tube 13 inches in diameter
  • Spacious 4-sqare feet-per-person interior
  • Automatically inflated canopy
  • Heavy duty boarding ladder
  • Extra large weighted ballast pockets for stabilization in rough seas

    What our Experts Think
    • Purpose-built for aviation emergencies
Specifically engineered for general aviation overwater flights, this raft prioritizes ultra-light weight, compact storage, and rapid deployment—critical in aircraft ditching scenarios.
    • One of the lightest in its class
Starting at just ~45 lbs, it’s exceptionally easy to handle, deploy, and stow—an essential advantage when space and time are limited in an aircraft.
    • Redundant buoyancy for added safety
The dual-compartment air tube system ensures flotation even if one chamber is compromised—enhancing survivability in harsh conditions.
    • Fast, stress-free boarding & setup
Features like a heavy-duty boarding ladder, automatically inflating canopy, and wide entry design help passengers get in quickly and stay protected.
    • Spacious for extended survival scenarios
Offers ~4 sq. ft. per person, giving more room than typical aviation rafts—important for comfort and endurance while awaiting rescue.
    • Stability-focused in open water
Equipped with extra-large ballast pockets and a sea anchor system, helping reduce drift and improve balance in rough seas.
    • Fully equipped emergency survival pack
Includes SOLAS flares, signaling gear, paddles, repair kit, first-response tools, and more, covering immediate post-ditch survival needs.

    Maintenance Tips
    • Service every 3 years (mandatory): Required for warranty and safety compliance; reduces failure risk during deployment.
    • Store in a cool, dry, UV-protected location: Preserves vacuum seal and prevents degradation of canopy and tube materials.
    • Protect vacuum-packed integrity: Avoid punctures, compression, or rough handling to maintain environmental protection and lower servicing costs.
    • Inspect valise/container before flights: Check for wear, loose straps, or damage to ensure immediate deployability.
    • Avoid stacking heavy equipment on top: Excess pressure can compromise internal components and sealing.
    • Verify survival kit contents & expiry: Includes flares, flashlight, repair kit, and signaling tools—critical for aviation emergencies.
    • Ensure quick-access mounting: Secure yet instantly deployable placement is essential in ditching scenarios.
    • Crew familiarity & training: Review deployment steps (auto-inflation, boarding ladder, canopy use) to minimize response time.
    • Check multi-chamber buoyancy system: Ensure no external damage that could affect dual air compartments.
