PRE-ORDER EXPECTED late July
The Canadian Solar EP Cube 2.0 Complete Kit is a fully integrated hybrid solar + battery storage system designed for homeowners who want energy independence, backup power, and maximum solar production. This bundle combines the EP Cube 2.0 Hybrid Inverter, EP Cube Smart Gateway, and modular EP Cube battery storage, plus the required mounting components to build a clean, expandable installation.
At the center of the system is the 11.5kW 120/240V split-phase hybrid inverter with 6 MPPTs and support for up to 23kW PV solar input, making it ideal for complex roof layouts and high-production arrays. The inverter’s wide PV operating range and high-voltage capability simplify string design while delivering strong conversion performance with up to 96.5% CEC efficiency.
The included EP Cube Smart Gateway (SGNA2-200GX) acts as the system’s grid and load management hub, supporting 240/208V AC, 200A service integration, and seamless on-grid to off-grid switchover when paired with EP Cube batteries. It also enables expansion and integrations such as generator control (2-wire start), communications options (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, LTE/4G), and support for up to 5 smart breakers.
EP Cube battery storage scales to match your needs, starting at 5.0kWh and expanding up to 20.0kWh on a single base, or up to 40.0kWh with a double-base configuration. Larger configurations support up to 6kW continuous battery-only charging and up to 11.5kW continuous battery-only discharge at 240V (48A) or 9.9kW at 208V (48A), providing real power for critical loads during outages.

Q&A
Maintenance Tips
- Inspect all AC, DC, and battery cable connections regularly, ensuring terminals are secure and tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque.
- Keep the enclosure, cooling vents, and air inlets free of dust, dirt, and debris to maintain proper airflow and prevent overheating.
- Monitor battery state of charge, system performance, and fault notifications through the EP Cube monitoring platform to identify issues early.
- Periodically inspect breakers, disconnects, surge protection devices, and grounding connections for corrosion, loose hardware, or signs of wear.
- Keep the battery enclosure dry and verify that cable glands, conduit fittings, and covers remain securely sealed to prevent moisture intrusion.
- Disconnect AC, PV, and battery power before performing any cleaning or maintenance, and follow all electrical safety procedures.
- Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation, and avoid storing objects that block airflow or restrict service access.
- Schedule an annual inspection by a qualified technician to verify inverter performance, battery health, electrical connections, and overall system safety for reliable long-term operation.
