SCM Circle T Easy Coping Machine (2 Heads) - C220

The C220 by Circle T is an automatic end-coping machine ideal for high production cabinet door and furniture shops, as well as trim/molding manufacturers. The two-head design reduces tear out, increases production speed, and eliminates the need for a backer block.

The big sibling of the C117, the C220 features a dual head design. With cutterhead spindles on both the left and right sides, this coping machine eliminates the need to flip the workpiece, reducing the process to a single cut. This will save your shop both time and manpower. The C220 can also be used as a single head cutter if the application does not require both heads.

Changing profiles on the C220 is extremely easy and quick. Simply turn the "tool lock" dial on the control panel to "off," open the spindle compartment(s), and switch out the cutter head(s). Then you'll turn the tool lock dial back to "on" and you're ready to cut with a new profile — no tool holders required!

The C220 has a 16" cutting width capacity and can cut materials as thick as 1" (5/8" minimum). Its 1.25" spindle is compatible with many cutters (3" and 4" diameter). Spindle adjustments on the Y and Z axes are easily made through the control panel’s digital readout (DRO). This machine boasts a 5HP main motor for smooth, consistent cutting.

Other features of the C220 include a pneumatic foot pedal for convenient cycle start and a pneumatic hold-down clamp system that securely holds the workpiece. Simply switch to “Clamp” to engage the hold-down. Once the cut is complete, the system automatically releases.
