The Galileo HUD Dive Computer is an innovative mask-mounted, hands-free dive computer designed to keep you fully immersed in your dive, so you can experience more freedom on your dive. Featuring a virtual, floating heads-up display that uses precision near-eye optics, it keeps your essential dive information right in front of you. Using the intuitive push-wheel knob, you can quickly navigate the customizable menu without having to look away, and the screen conveniently tilts up and out of the way before or after a dive, or any time you don't need it. With the Galileo HUD, your dive data's never looked so good.

Features
  • Mask-Mounted Dive Computer: Offers a superior user experience by delivering easily viewable, essential dive information constantly right in front you.
  • Precision Near-Eye Optics: The micro OLED “floating” display creates an image that makes it easy to monitor dive data without losing eye contact with your surroundings. Dive data appears at a virtual distance of approximately 1 m in front of you.
  • Full Color OLED Display (96x64p): Produces vibrant colors for maximum readability in any ambient light conditions.
  • Intuitive Single-Knob User Control: Push wheel allows you to rotate to easily access and quickly find dive control functions. Navigate up and down to pick your choice of screen display configurations.
  • Flip Up Hinge Mechanism: Screen conveniently tilts up and out of the way before or after a dive, or any time you don’t need quick access to your dive data.
  • Selectable Dive Modes: Pick your dive mode for your diving purpose: SCUBA, Gauge, Apnea & CCR.
  • 2 Dive Algorithms: Choose between Predictive Multi-Gas Buhlmann ZH-L16 ADT MB PMG or ZH-L16 GF for your dive.
  • Predictive Multi-Gas Dive Algorithm: Advanced Uwatec algorithm programs up to 8 selectable gases including Nitrox and Trimix in SCUBA mode, plus 2 set points for CCR diving. Microbubble levels and Profile Dependent Intermediate Stops (PDIS) can be incorporated into the algorithm to further personalize your dive.
  • Hoseless Air Integration: Monitors tank pressure plus provides true remaining bottom time (RBT) based on the workload from breathing.
  • 3D Full-Tilt Digital Compass: Allows you to store 3 pre-programmed headings.
  • Lightweight Design: Neutrally buoyant and easily mountable to a diving mask.
  • Compatible Mask Mount Included: Several existing SCUBAPRO masks can be outfitted to hold the Galileo HUD Hands-Free Dive Computer with the included mask mount.
  • Maximum Operating Depth: 394ft/120m for reliable dive computing regardless of diving situation.
  • Rechargeable Battery: Provides up to 20 hours of dive time per charge in Power Save mode.
  • Huge 2GB Memory: Stores 10,000 hours of dive profiles.
  • USB Cable or Bluetooth: Easily download dive data wirelessly to your phone or handheld device. Compatible with Apple and Android devices using LogTRAK.

What our Experts Think
  • Cold-water ready & environmentally sealed – MK17 EVO2 uses a dry, sealed diaphragm design that keeps contaminants out and improves freeze resistance in cold or silty water conditions.
  • Stable, balanced airflow – Delivers consistent gas flow regardless of depth or tank pressure for predictable breathing performance.
  • Compact, travel-friendly build – New forged-body design makes it smaller and lighter than previous MK17 versions, ideal for divers who travel frequently.
  • Easy hose routing – Angled HP ports and multiple LP ports allow clean, flexible configuration for gauges, octo, and inflator setup.
  • Simple, durable second stage – The C370 offers adjustable inhalation effort and a dive/pre-dive switch while keeping a rugged, lightweight construction.
  • Good breathing comfort for its class – Air-balanced second stage design reduces effort and improves comfort across varying depths.
  • Great “do-it-all” recreational system – Commonly chosen as a reliable all-rounder for travel, quarry, and recreational diving in mixed conditions.

Q&A

Q: What is the Scubapro Galileo HUD Hands-Free Dive Computer (COM277, Computer Only)?
A: It is a mask-mounted, hands-free dive computer that projects a floating heads-up OLED display directly in your field of vision, so you can monitor depth, time, and dive data without looking down at a wrist unit.

Q: How does the HUD display work underwater?
A: It uses near-eye micro OLED optics to create a “floating” image that appears about 1 meter in front of you, keeping dive data visible while maintaining full awareness of your surroundings.

Q: What dive modes does it support?
A: It supports SCUBA, gauge, apnea, and CCR modes, making it suitable for recreational, technical, and rebreather diving.

Q: Does it support air integration?
A: Yes. It supports hoseless air integration via a transmitter (sold separately) and can calculate remaining bottom time based on workload and tank pressure.

Q: What navigation features does it include?
A: It has a 3D digital tilt-compensated compass with ability to store preset headings for navigation.

Q: Is it suitable for advanced diving?
A: Yes. It supports multi-gas Nitrox and Trimix (up to 8 gases) and advanced decompression algorithms (BĂźhlmann-based options).

Q: How is it powered and how long does it last?
A: It uses a rechargeable lithium battery with about 20 hours of dive time per charge.

Q: Who is this dive computer best for?
A: It’s best for divers who want a hands-free, high-tech display experience, especially underwater photographers, technical divers, and those who prefer constant data visibility without checking a wrist computer.

Maintenance Tips
  • Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after every dive, including the mask-mounted HUD unit and contact areas to remove salt, sand, and debris.
  • Avoid dropping, knocking, or applying impact to the HUD, as it can affect sensors and display alignment.
  • Do not expose the unit to direct, prolonged sunlight or store it in sealed containers—always keep it in a ventilated, dry place.
  • Clean water/USB contact points with mild soapy water only if needed, then dry completely; avoid solvents or silicone grease.
  • Charge the battery regularly and avoid deep discharge; store the unit with a healthy charge level to prolong battery life.
  • Inspect mask mount, cables, and connectors before each dive to ensure secure fit and correct alignment in your field of view.
  • Do not open or attempt DIY repairs—depth accuracy and pressure-related components should be serviced only by authorized technicians (typically every 2 years or after ~200 dives).
  • If any display errors, sensor issues, or battery faults appear, stop using and have it checked by an authorized service center
