The Miller Spectrum 2050 plasma cutter combines innovative technology and versatile design in one compact industrial plasma cutting and gouging system. Miller's exclusive Auto-Line input voltage technology allows for any input voltage hookup (208 - 575 V) with no manual linking, providing convenience in any job setting. The addition of the new ICE-55C torch offers improved plasma flow characteristics for increased cutting speeds and longer consumable set life. The portable, easy-to-carry unit is an excellent choice for cutting jobs on all conductive metals including mild carbon or stainless steel up to 7/8 in (22 mm) and aluminum to 3/4 in (19 mm).
A unique protective drag shield allows you to drag cut at full 55 amp output. The drag shield increases operator comfort, makes template cutting easier, and improves consumable life -- even in piercing work.

Q: What is the Miller Spectrum 2050 Plasma Cutter (Reconditioned)?
A: A professional-grade air plasma cutting system designed for fast, precise cutting of conductive metals using a high-temperature plasma arc.
Q: What is it used for?
A: It is used in fabrication, maintenance, automotive repair, and industrial metalwork to cut steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other conductive materials quickly and cleanly.
Q: What materials can it cut?
A: It can cut mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper, with thickness capacity depending on amperage and setup.
Q: What are its key features?
A: It includes inverter-based power technology, pilot arc starting for non-contact ignition, smooth cutting performance, and portable design for jobsite use.
Q: What type of power does it use?
A: It operates on standard electrical input power (single-phase shop or generator power depending on configuration) and uses compressed air as the cutting gas.
Q: What makes plasma cutting better than traditional cutting?
A: Plasma cutting provides faster cutting speeds, cleaner edges, less heat distortion, and reduced need for grinding or finishing compared to oxy-fuel or mechanical cutting.
Q: Is it portable?
A: Yes. The Spectrum 2050 is designed to be compact and jobsite-ready, making it suitable for field repairs and mobile fabrication work.
Q: Why choose the Miller Spectrum 2050 (reconditioned)?
A: It offers precise, high-speed plasma cutting performance with professional reliability at a reduced cost, making it ideal for fabricators and maintenance teams needing efficient metal cutting capability.
