Powermatic 60HH 8" Helical Head Jointer - PM9-1610086K

This 8" jointer meets the demand for accuracy while combining unique, user-friendly functions. The Powermatic 60HH helical head jointer is designed for precision jointing with enhanced ease of use. The infeed table lever can be used to rapidly position table height, then the handle rotated for fine-adjustment of cut depth. Fence tilting is accomplished by a worm gear system, smoothly operated by a simple handwheel.

The tables provide 73" long extended support. A non-mar insert in the fence protects the table from scratches during adjustments. The jointer is available with a three knife cutterhead, or a helical cutterhead with four-sided knife inserts. The operating switch is high mounted for easy reach, and the push blocks have a magnetic base - store them on any metallic surface for instant access.

Features
  • Helical cutterhead with 54 four-sided carbide inserts delivers a smoother surface finish while reducing noise and tear-out during jointing
  • 73" total table length offers increased workpiece support for better accuracy on long boards
  • Quick-adjust infeed table lever allows rapid height changes with fine control for precise depth-of-cut settings
  • Handwheel-operated worm gear fence system enables smooth, controlled fence tilting for accurate edge jointing
  • Dovetail-mounted infeed and outfeed tables maintain alignment while providing stable, vibration-resistant operation
  • Non-marring fence insert protects the cast iron table surface during fence adjustments
  • High-mounted power switch and control box improves visibility and operator access during use
  • Magnetic push blocks store directly on the machine for convenient access and improved shop organization
