ScubaPro 3/2mm Mens Everflex Yulex Full Wetsuit - WET520 02-SM

Everflex YULEX Dive steamers offer the same award-winning comfort and thermal protection that have made Everflex ScubaPro's best-selling wetsuit. They are designed with SCUBAPRO’S exclusive Pure Design Concept, with just enough multi-thickness panels to guarantee maximum stretch and comfort. They fit comfortably snug and deliver unparalleled freedom of movement. As an alternative to neoprene, Everflex utilizes a plant-based foam, YULEX® dive, made from FSC-certified-natural rubber. YULEX dive is specifically formulated to resist wetsuit compression while diving and is 100 % neoprene-free.

Features
  • Pure Design Concept uses fewer seams and panels for maximum range of motion.
  • Multi-thickness panels deliver a combination of warmth and flexibility.
  • Blue Diamond Span inner fleece lining’s warm and water-draining material enhances cold-water protection. It is combined with a second black lining for improved stretch, also making donning and doffing much easier.
  • Wrists and ankles feature fuse-cut finished cuffs that are super-stretchy for easy donning and exceptional comfort.
  • Double blind-stitched outer seams are durable and a glued inner seam provides added comfort.
  • Seat and shoulder areas are protected by an abrasion resistant outside lining to increase durability and extend the life of the suit.
  • Printed pads on knees and shoulders provide additional abrasion protection.
  • Vertical rear YKK zipper with brass slider offers increased long-term durability, and the long webbing puller makes it easy to use.
  • YULEX dive: Plant-based foam made from FSC-certified-natural rubber. 100 % neoprene-free.
  • YULEX dive is specifically formulated to resist wetsuit compression while diving.
Interior & exterior black polyester lining made from recycled plastic bottles.
  • Assembled using a solvent-free glue.

What our Experts Think
  • Warm-water optimized insulation – 3mm torso and 2mm limbs designed for ~16–24°C (60.8–75.2°F) diving conditions for comfort in tropical environments
  • Eco-friendly Yulex material – Made from FSC-certified plant-based rubber, reducing environmental impact while maintaining wetsuit warmth and stretch
  • Excellent flexibility & movement – Fewer seams and multi-panel construction improve stretch, reducing fatigue on long dives
  • Lightweight, travel-friendly design – Easy to pack, quick drying, and ideal for dive travel or frequent warm-water use
  • Effective thermal retention system – Diamond Span lining helps reduce heat loss while improving comfort and donning ease

Q&A

Q: What is the Scubapro 3/2mm Men’s Everflex Yulex Full Wetsuit (WET520 02-SM)?
A: It is a lightweight, eco-friendly full wetsuit made with Yulex® plant-based natural rubber, designed for high flexibility and comfort in warm to mild-water diving conditions.

Q: What water temperature is it designed for?
A: It is CE Class C rated for approximately 16–24°C (60.8–75.2°F), making it ideal for tropical to warm-temperate diving.

Q: How does the 3/2mm thickness work?
A: It uses 3mm insulation in the core (torso) for warmth and 2mm panels on arms and legs for maximum flexibility and easy movement underwater.

Q: What makes Yulex material different from neoprene?
A: Yulex is a plant-based natural rubber alternative to neoprene that resists compression better, helping the suit retain warmth and reduce heat loss at depth.

Q: Is it flexible and comfortable for long dives?
A: Yes. It uses Scubapro’s Pure Design Concept (fewer seams and panels) plus stretch linings, giving excellent mobility and a “second-skin” fit.

Q: What comfort features does it include?
A: It includes a back zipper system, ankle/wrist seals, and ergonomic panel shaping to make donning easier while improving water sealing and comfort.

Q: Is it durable enough for regular diving?
A: Yes. It has blind-stitched seams, reinforced panels, and abrasion-resistant areas, designed for repeated recreational use.

Maintenance Tips
  • Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after every dive, especially inside cuffs, seams, and zipper areas to remove salt, sand, and body oils that can degrade Yulex natural rubber.
  • Turn the suit inside out and rinse again to fully flush trapped salt/chlorine from the interior thermal lining for better warmth and odor control.
  • Use only mild wetsuit shampoo or gentle soap when needed, then rinse completely to protect glued seams and Yulex material integrity.
  • Hang dry inside-out first in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight to prevent UV damage and loss of elasticity.
  • Use a wide wetsuit hanger to avoid shoulder stress and maintain the 3/2mm panel shape and stretch performance.
  • Rinse zipper and remove sand/salt buildup; apply zipper lubricant periodically to ensure smooth operation and prevent corrosion.
  • Avoid prolonged UV exposure, heat, chlorine, solvents, and petroleum-based products that can degrade Yulex rubber and bonding adhesives.
  • Store fully dry in a cool, dark place, either loosely hung or laid flat to preserve flexibility, fit, and long-term thermal performance.
