Maintenance Tips
- Rinse the regulator thoroughly with fresh water after every dive, preferably while the MK17 EVO2 first stage is still pressurized. If disconnected, ensure the DIN dust cap is securely fitted to prevent water ingress.
- Allow all components to air dry completely in a cool, shaded area before storage to help prevent corrosion and moisture buildup.
- Inspect the MK17 EVO2 first stage, hoses, DIN connection, O-rings, and second stage fittings regularly for signs of wear, leaks, or damage before each dive.
- Keep the sealed diaphragm system clean and free from sand, salt, and debris to maintain reliable performance in cold or silty water conditions.
