Maintenance Tips
- Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after every dive, keeping the first stage dust cap securely in place to prevent water from entering the regulator.
- Rinse only while the regulator is pressurized or ensure the dust cap is properly sealed before rinsing.
- Lightly operate the purge button and adjust the inhalation control and VIVA lever during rinsing to remove salt and sand from moving parts.
- Allow the regulator to air dry completely in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Store with hoses loosely coiled to prevent kinks and avoid placing heavy objects on the regulator.
- Inspect hoses, mouthpiece, O-rings, and fittings regularly for cracks, leaks, corrosion, or wear before each dive.
- Avoid exposure to sand, oils, solvents, chlorine, and harsh chemicals that can damage seals and internal components.
- Have the MK19 EVO first stage and A700 second stage professionally serviced at least annually or according to the manufacturer's recommended schedule.
