Scubapro MK25 EVO BT/ G260 Carbon BT Diving Regulator - REG387 INT

An upgrade to our popular G260 technical diving system, the MK25 EVO BT/G260 Carbon BT regulator system delivers greater durability with a carbon fiber cover and Black Tech finish. The balanced piston MK25 EVO BT offers excellent resistance to freezing, superb inhalation sensitivity and instant delivery of air on demand. The G260 Carbon BT, with its large diaphragm, internal metal components, and high-flow exhaust valve for excellent breathing sensitivity and resistance to freezing, ratchets up its ruggedness with the addition of a carbon fiber front cover.

Features
  • Lightweight and extremely durable, carbon fiber can resist substantial shocks without damage.
  • Both first and second stages feature a Black Tech scratch-resistant coating on metal parts that protects against the ravages of salt water and corrosion.
  • Air balanced second stage valve smooths out the inhalation effort at varying depths and supply pressures.
  • A diver-adjustable inhalation effort knob fine-tunes air delivery to suit changing depths, water conditions and personal tastes, and a Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) dive/pre-dive switch prevents free flows in cold water or when used as an octopus.
  • High-flow exhaust valve reduces exhalation for better overall breathing comfort, and the reversible hose attachment allows you to easily adjust hose routing for tech diving configurations.
  • Super-flow hose features an oversized bore that allows more air to flow on each inhalation.
  • Air balanced flow-through piston provides constant and effortless airflow unaffected by depth, tank pressure, or breathing rate.
  • Patented XTIS (Extended Thermal Insulating system) insulates the inner mechanism from the environment, improving cold-water resistance and delaying ice formation in extreme cold-water conditions without compromising breathing performance.
  • Two opposing high pressure ports allow the first stage to be positioned either up or down.
  • Four high-flow and one axial super high-flow low pressure ports on a swivel turret maximize hose routing options.
  • Includes a zippered fabric case complete with specially fitted padding to protect the regulator during storage and transport.
  • Product weight: 2.9 lbs
What our Experts Think
  • Built for demanding divers, this premium regulator excels in cold water, technical, wreck, and cave diving where durability and performance matter most.
  • MK25 EVO Black Tech balanced piston first stage delivers instant, effortless airflow with exceptional freeze resistance and consistent breathing at any depth or tank pressure.
  • G260 Carbon Black Tech second stage combines a lightweight carbon fiber front cover with a large diaphragm for outstanding breathing sensitivity and rugged impact resistance.
  • Fully adjustable breathing controls let divers fine-tune inhalation effort and VIVA settings for maximum comfort in changing dive conditions.
  • Swivel turret and reversible hose routing make it an excellent choice for technical and sidemount configurations, offering exceptional hose management flexibility.
  • A top-tier investment for experienced divers seeking elite breathing performance, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability in the harshest underwater environments.
Q&A

Q: What makes the ScubaPro MK25 EVO BT/G260 Carbon BT Regulator unique?
A: It combines the flagship MK25 EVO balanced piston first stage with the rugged G260 Carbon BT second stage, featuring a lightweight carbon fiber front cover and Black Tech coating for premium durability and performance.

Q: Is this regulator suitable for cold water and technical diving?
A: Yes. It features XTIS thermal insulation, anti-freeze technology, and a high-performance design built specifically for cold water, technical, cave, and wreck diving.

Q: What are the advantages of the INT (Yoke) connection?
A: The INT (Yoke) connection fits most standard recreational scuba cylinders, making it ideal for dive resorts, rental tanks, and everyday recreational diving.

Q: Does this regulator provide adjustable breathing performance?
A: Yes. The G260 Carbon BT includes an adjustable inhalation effort knob and a VIVA dive/pre-dive switch, allowing divers to fine-tune breathing comfort and minimize free flows.

Q: Is hose routing flexible for different dive configurations?
A: Yes. The MK25 EVO features a swivel turret with five low-pressure ports and two high-pressure ports, while the reversible second-stage hose routing supports technical and sidemount configurations.

Q: Who is this regulator best suited for?
A: It's an excellent choice for advanced recreational, technical, cave, and wreck divers seeking maximum airflow, exceptional cold-water reliability, and long-lasting durability.

Maintenance Tips
  • Rinse the regulator thoroughly with fresh water after every dive, preferably while it is still attached to a pressurized cylinder. If disconnected, ensure the yoke dust cap is securely fitted before rinsing.
  • Allow all components to air dry completely in a cool, shaded area before storage to help prevent corrosion and moisture buildup.
  • Inspect the yoke connection, O-rings, hoses, carbon fiber second stage, mouthpiece, purge button, and fittings before each dive for signs of wear, cracks, corrosion, or leaks.
  • Operate the VIVA dive/pre-dive switch and inhalation adjustment knob regularly to ensure smooth operation, but avoid making internal adjustments beyond the user controls.
  • Keep the yoke dust cap clean and securely installed whenever the regulator is not connected to a cylinder to prevent water and debris from entering the first stage.
  • Store the regulator in a padded gear bag with hoses loosely coiled, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, chemicals, and heavy objects to protect the Black Tech finish and carbon fiber cover.
  • Have the MK25 EVO BT/G260 Carbon BT regulator professionally inspected and serviced at the manufacturer's recommended intervals by an authorized SCUBAPRO technician to ensure safe, reliable performance.
